So I got a second warning for torrenting from my ISP cause my room mate just HAD to download Rango and Transformers or some bull shit. Now I can't download shit for fear that if I get a third strike they'll cancel my internet forever.

The hotel I'll be staying in of course, has pay for Wi-fi, using a captive portal and such.
They charge a lot for a single day of use, so I want to know is there anyway to bypass one of these captive portals?

I would primarily use it to watch movies, read books/comics, and general internet browsing.

Is the screen resolution that much of an improvement over the iPad 2 or is it just apple's bullshit marketing at work again?

Is using itunes to transfer files that much of a pain?

Will I be able to play 1080p bluray rips on the iPad without lag?

How is media viewing experience in general? the aspect ratio on the iPad seems to be more geared toward text than media.
